Randy Zaideman 1947 - May-04-2005

Ed, Jeanne, Randy and Jeramy at the  First Annual RF Party 2000

On the following pages there is a story that Jeanne, Randy's former wife and I put together several years ago.

It's a story of  two people very much in love while working side by side together for many, many years. Unfortunately people change and they separated a few years back. Just recently Randy and Jeramy helped me out with some digital tools that I needed in order to put together this years show program. Randy and Jeramy were also talking about coming out this year and displaying at the show. All I can say is that throughout the years this very talented family has always influenced me and are some of the kindness people I have ever met.

Son Jeramy and Randy had been living and working side by side in Junction city KS. Jeramy will continue to run the business as "DaZeez" a name that pinstriper Steve Kafka came up with a while back.

Randy is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughter Amanda, currently living in Las Vegas and sons Jason and Jeramy.

We will all miss you Randy.

God Bless and Keep You,

Moldy Marvin

Randy was born in 1947 in Gary, Indiana. As a young teen his family moved to Venice Beach, CA. He grew up surfing from Venice to Zuma Beach he also liked riding go carts. For spending money Randy would take his charcoals and sketch pad to the Venice pier and do rough sketches of the people roller skating or walking along the beach and sell them to the people he had sketched.

On his way to and from school Randy would pass by a sign shop. Sometimes he would stop to check out what the sign guys were painting. This really caught Randy's interest art work.   Randy's father worked for several body shops and detailed vehicles out of his garage.

Randy was fascinated every time his father had the pin striper come to add the finishing touches, but Randy didn't consider art as a serious career until later on in life.
