How This All Got Started     P 2

The front axle is from a 37 ford v8 60
Mark made the front spring cups and the springs are from a 54 Chevy

Ken agreed that we needed someone who could do a bang up job on fixin' the mold.  It was also decided then that the best way to pull bodies would be to pull a buck from the mold, clean that up and then produce a new mold from the buck.  We gawt approval from the Estate to do a feasibility study and the search was on.

Several folks stepped up to produce the buck but we really needed someone we could trust; who knew fiberglas and at the same time sculpt if need be.

We put the project information on our website in May of 2001. Within several weeks a lot of inquires came in. Scott Ross took an interest in what we were doin' and produced several articles about the project.

That December Jimmy C had displayed a full size image of  the Large Father in Fiberglas at the Mooneyes Christmas party.

The intake is a Cragar unit with 4 Stromberg 97's with SP tops.
the rear frame cross-member is from a model A as is the rear spring

After several months of extensive searching our prayers were answered; it was right there under our nose Jimmy C could put this thing together.  In April of 2002 we all got together over at Robert and Suzanne's with Jimmy and Dena and well you can see that we've come pretty far since then.

Mark our inspiration; purchased the second body produced and he's not far from completing his project.

There are currently 5 bodies sold to date.  Nose units are now available.
